DataFlex Remote™ is a unique service offered by RODI Systems Corp. DataFlex Remote™ uses web enabled messaging technology along with a worldwide low earth orbit satellite telemetry network. By combining these technologies with monitoring and control hardware from RODI Systems, users gain wireless access via the Internet to remote sites worldwide.
RODI Systems offers the telemetry service by incorporating a wireless transceiver into the monitoring and control system, allowing monitored data to be transmitted to the worldwide network. From the network, the data is fed to an Internet server which makes the data available via website with alarm notification by website, e-mail, or phone. The DataFlex Remote™ products also allow users to send commands to remote sites via the satellite network. These commands may be used to check system status, change setpoints, adjust time delays, etc.
