RODI Systems’ PureBox™ DLX portable desalination systems are built inside intermodal dry cargo shipping containers that have been specifically modified for water treatment applications. These fully self-contained, fully functional desalination systems can be delivered to a site and put into operation with a minimum of site preparation, making this system a cost-effective way to produce pure water from seawater.

Customers are often plagued by how to create an effective water purification or wastewater treatment system in a small or remote space. Portable, self-contained, and cost-effective, RODI’s containerized water treatment systems provide a sustainable solution to remote water treatment obstacles.
From portable desalination systems to silt density index monitors and instruments to keep your RO systems running, RODI Systems provides water treatment products for multiple applications and a variety of industries. Discover how our containerized systems and monitoring tools will work for your remote water treatment needs. Recently, Thomas and the Internal Trade Administration shared an article highlighting how RODI Systems has become a worldwide provider of desalination and containerized water treatment systems, working to bring clean water technology to regions all over the world.
This month, RODI Systems completed this submerged ceramic microfiltration system for treating wastewater from a yarn mill. The system utilizes Cembrane silicon carbide membrane and will be replacing an older tubular UF system that didn't stand up well to the frequent chemical cleaning necessary in this application. Filtrate from this system will be further processed by reverse osmosis with the RO permeate being used as boiler feed.

RODI Systems’ Ceramic Membrane Bioreactor (CMBR) has been in operation at the Miocene Winery near Napa, California, for nearly a year. Utilizing Cembrane silicon carbide ceramic membrane, the Miocene unit is processing wastewater with BOD5 (5-day biochemical oxygen demand) as high as 6,000 mg/l with no detectable BOD5 or suspended solids in the filtered effluent.
