Recycling Wastewater at a Winery

RODI Systems’ Ceramic Membrane Bioreactor (CMBR) has been in operation at the Miocene Winery near Napa, California, for nearly a year. Utilizing Cembrane silicon carbide ceramic membrane, the Miocene unit is processing wastewater with BOD5 (5-day biochemical oxygen demand) as high as 6,000 mg/l with no detectable BOD5 or suspended solids in the filtered effluent.
