Project Spotlight: Custom SDI Analyzers

RODI Systems is proud to announce the completion of a major project in which we designed and fabricated two custom silt density index (SDI) analyzers. ​

These analyzers will be part of one of the world’s largest offshore floating production units (FPU) located in the Gulf of Mexico.

Design and fabrication of these SDI analyzers had to meet stringent requirements for materials of construction and Class 1 Division 2 hazardous areas.

​Each analyzer is capable of performing eight ASTM compliant silt density index tests before filter replacement is necessary. The analyzers are controlled remotely by the FPU’s plant-wide control system.
